ok im lazy to add in smilies.

but mamegoma's like the cutest thing ever!
went to PS today after chi paper with s23, and i happily trudged into action city, looking for something to buy. and i saw this uber cute mamegoma tank thing with a mini mamegoma inside! ahhhhh~ so kawaii! so i splurged 5 bucks on it.

and im so tempted to collect all 10! woot.

IT IS the cutest thing ever. haha. and i so desperately want mamegoma merchandise! arhhh. if only i could fly to japan now. :(

ahhh yesterday was great. was anticipating it since forever. had marche dinner with usual marche clique! haha. i miss crazy shit totally! ahhhhh!

haha. seeing bert's crappy self and charlie's 'xiong xiong' thing going on really cheered me up as well. muahahaa. love em man. more marche outings PLEASE. i had so much food! like soft shell crab, rosti, ham&cheese crepe, apple smoothie, tiramisu ice cream... ahha. but of cos, crazy shit and i shared all of em la.

sigh school's reopening tmr. what a drag. and common tests are gonna start. bleah.

sometimes, i ask many questions about myself, and more on the world outside.
many a time, i am cooped up inside my shell, wondering whether naiiveness has taken a toll on me.

always, i find myself reflecting on everything random that comes my way. and so i think, and think, and stone and stone.

and it does me good. a waste of time heals, for me that is.

imagine a time where there are no super heroes, no microwaves, no anti-viruses,

yesterday was the cousins party. or so it was called. haha. including jarrod's immediate family. and sharon was touched.

so sweet.
haha and saw jaclyn. such a china doll! oh, i took pix of jimbo too.

that's jarrod's cute lil schnauzer (sp?). shall post em up soon.

then left for tm with cindy. shopped for father's day stuff.
got dad this photo frame and a really cute keychain. hehs.

cindy got a new phone! motorola v3i in maroon! so chio.

lalala. i slept at 5am this morning. and woke up at noon. wooots.

oh. there's cousins gathering tmr. like for the first time in the 16.5 yrs of my life, there's a cousins gathering. with my dad's side of course.

well its my dear cousin sharon's bday!

like im the youngest and there's 14 yrs of age diff between us. haha. she's got 2 kids already, oldest is like almost 5? haha. ohwells. that's something good.

how boring. another day spent at home just day-dreaming or trying to study to no avail. almost 6 months of slacking...

i keep telling myself that i must get down to work and catch up before its too late. but its like. HAIX. how sad.

gah.

i shall just do whatever i can.

hahaha. and chn u's gonna have Armed Reaction 4 soon! hooray. used to like it alot many yrs ago. but i thought i watched the 4th season already. oh wells. haha. stm.

went jb yesterday. had crayfish and cuttlefish and frog leg porridge! yums. and i got new adidas sneakers!

whoot. quite a fruitful trip for 'grocery' shopping.

oh crap. i forgot. awei has left wanyu for good.

i suppose. sigh. depressing. almost 4 yrs with them. and resulting in this kind of horrible ending. SADDED.

i guess next time i should write everything in one shot. by now, i hardly can remember specific details of everything already. anw, i've got a new diary at diaryland! yay.

wednesday 08.06.06
the day wasnt so good. the past 2 days were all bright and cheery. and it started pouring today, right after breakfast.

so cindy and i went to the computer room to help uncle paddy with his laptop stuff. then i fell asleep watching cartoon network on the tv there. the room tv didnt have cartoon network. kinda sucked, except for animal planet, NHK and discovery channel. hahs. so then, we left close to noon for the Go-Kart place.

we decided to go there since the prev time i came for a holiday, i wasnt allowed to go on it.

so yeah. the roads were kinda slippery and i turned 'turtle' twice. had to reverse and go back on the track. kinda difficult for a first-timer. sadly, i havent been to the escape one. the last time i went to escape was in pri 6, and below the height limit. haha. quite ex leh. like 20 bucks for 10 mins. but it was damn cool.

was shivering at first, but when i got the hang of it, i was just flying through the wind. it was filled will adrenalin rush, and just like riding a rollercoaster, just that you could control the speed of it. and i kept braking... haha. my hands were so numb from holding too hard on the handles.

i was so scared i'd crash into the wheels.

so then later, we drove around phuket town and decided that it was time for lunch. went to this fuji restaurant back at central festival, and the sushi lunch was value-for-$$ and sooo yummy! the tempura were so fresh! and the sashimi as well.

ahaha. cindy and i shared this huge sashimi boat. wah, it was heaven. so delicious!

this was what mum had, for about SGD$8+? and there were more pieces of sashimi, but i koped it before taking this pic. haha. AND. there was chawanmushi (steamed egg) and the miso soup as well. my gosh! so filling. ahaha. and we continued shopping there since the weather wasnt looking good and our plans to parasail had to be put off to tomorrow.

so i bought more sanrio stuff, since it was well, cheap, and two more pairs of formal shoes for the wedding. for like, 8 bucks! haha.

so we headed back to the hotel since gong gong was kinda tired. and i just plonked onto the bed upon reaching and i fell asleep. haha. woke up for dinner and realized it was still pouring. kinda scary, the wind was super strong, just like a typhoon kinda thing. and esp with the tsunami nightmare thing, its like once bitten twice shy. uncle paddy and the rest were talking at the restaurant so we decided to dine in since the weather wasnt good to travel around.

fast forward, and cindy kinda persuaded me to go to a pub there. i was kinda reluctant at first, since i'm so guai you know. haha. but then i thought, since it'll be another 1 yr plus before im legally allowed into one in singapore, why not?

before that, we had to pump petrol, and phuket had all these improper petrol stations. that were 'makeshift'? haha. so stone-age kind. where they'd fill petrol into some small tank with markings, and use this garden hose thing to transfer the petrol into your car. damn cool la!

so uncle paddy brought cindy, me and auntie jessie to the pub, saxophone pub actually. and i had my first cocktail! some punch thing. hahha. its so nice! with rum! the alcohol wasnt too strong, and auntie jessie said i was downing it so fast, she kept asking me to 'go slow'. haha!

woops. and there was a live band there. and they played tunes and so on. kinda rock music and all. and slowly, i became drowsy and tired. so sleepy. hahaa. and it was like 2+ am (phuket time. sg time = + 1 hr) already? and my parents were already snoring soundly la! yep. and i konked on the bed like soon after i came back.

friday 09.06.06
we woke up late this morning. as a result of last night's alchoholing. haha. so we left after breakfast to parasail at kata beach. the beach was so nice... and then cindy was so game on parasailing, and dad kept saying it was gonna be an experience of a lifetime. so after countless persuasions, i decided to go for it.

and when we went there, the guy said it wasnt available, but dad was like asking the people there and seeing that we were sincere and not just asking for fun, he finally gave in and said, 'ok ok i'll bring my boat over, at another beach.'

so stupid la! so anw. since there was the jetskiing service available there as well, my garang cousin volunteered me to do it.

so she went on first. while i was shivering on the beach, shaking all over. fearing that i might drop into the sea or something. but i guess the waters at kata beach were ok. the tsunami hadnt hit that place, and there werent any debris inside the seas there. and boy was the jetski fast. soon it was my turn, and the 'instructor' behind controlled the jetski at first, but after awhile, he let me do it. so fun la! esp when going over the waves.

it was all bump, bump, bump. haha. but so cool! and the waves just below you splashing like mad. and the speed was like. WHOOOO~. and i screamed when the jetski flew over the waves. haha. quite pressurizing to control the jetski, with one hand pressing on the accelerator.

haha. so as usual, after 15 mins of exploring the seas, my hand was super duper numb la. held on too tight onto the accelerator and letting go and all. but it was soooo fun! i'd love to do it again again again.

and then the boat for the parasailing came. in case you didnt know,

par·a·sail :

A special parachute with winglike extensions that lifts a rider in its harness up and through the air when towed by an automobile or motorboat.

so anw, my cousin went up first, and seeing her dangle and legs like nothing got me all freaked out. i was so scared i'd drop into the water and drown, albeit the life jacket on me. haha. paranoid la. and it was kinda scary, like the more instructions they give you, the more you're scared that you might not be able to carry them out safely and properly.

like how they tell you, 'when i say run, you must run ok?' or, 'when you gonna touch the beach already, must remember to run again ah!' that kinda thing. haha. seriously i almost crumbled on the beach staring at my cousin fly in the sky. and it was high.

like 3 stories high? so scary la! and the boat would take you to the end of the beach, and circle back like almost into the trees and all.

so i was really freaking out by the time they started putting on the harness on me when my cousin was in the midst of her parasailing. it was tight and taut la. gosh. couldnt breathe inside it. and then they got a guy to go on tandem with me, since i was so scared and all. and then my cousin came back. so it was my turn to go on. and this guy was behind me, without any safety precautions. and then they asked me to start running and the boat was like going off already. and suddenly, the guy let go. and i was like. WTH.

they bluffed me la! so sad. so in the end i went up alone. clutching real tight to this handle thing. and i wouldnt let go. and my cousin would let her arms go to fly like a bird. but oh wells, she did it before. haha. and it was scary going up la... its like, you're running on the beach, and suddenly, you're like flying, your legs off the ground, you feel that the gravity machine has malfunctioned... whoa. the feeling was great, yet stressing. haha.

so the boat brought me along the beach. and it was scary when the wind became stronger and all, and if it became more calm, the parachute would like slowly come down, and then go up again. and the wind blowing against your face... wahhh! i didnt really dare ease my legs since the stupid harness was super uncomfortable. so i just like. kept it 'tangled'. hahs. but i didnt close my eyes la. and i didnt scream either. i realized i'd only scream on super fast moving objects. like rollercoasters. but parasailing was slowww. haha. the view was magnificient.

if only i had this camera above my head to capture the moments. whooot. and then i went to the other end of the beach, where the waves were bigger, and there were people surfing below. they looked like tiny ants bobbing in and out of the water. while the parachute cast a big shadow above them. kinda scary to think that if anything goes loose, you might just drop on top of their heads. ouch. and the boat turned. that was probably the 'scariest' part, cos the parachute suddenly dropped. and i grabbed onto the handle even tighter. hahah.

i was sooo paranoid. so i enjoyed the stupendous bird's eye view (literally) of the beach... so nice! and then it was about time to come down... and i landed into the water... the sea water was super salty.

haha. this time we'd land into the water, even though dad said he landed on the beach when he did it 20 yrs back. haha. it was quite a fulfilling experience. and it wasnt so scary after all. but i was scared and paranoid, so i held on real tight. you could see my knuckles almost bursting out of my skin. haha.

and so. at the end of my wonderful adventures, we went back to the hotel for a swim and then to this beachside restaurant for late lunch. then came back to hotel to slack while mum went to make her dress and dad his suit for the wedding. then cindy, tua ng, aunt jessie and i left to get a pedicure/manicure/massage... depending on who. haha. i got a pedicure for the first time!

but sadly they didnt have the materials to do those flowery designs!

and so, uncle paddy's friend, tomon came to visit him and wanted to treat us to dinner. and we had a beautiful dinner by the beach at savoey that night. seafood again. hahaha.

oh that day was the start of the Thai King's coronation celebrations. 60 yrs as a king! imagine that! and the Thais really love him, almost everyone was wearing yellow, even the guards on duty at the Royal Palace in Bangkok donned yellow suits.

they had this tee in festivities of the celebration. and then we walked past this agency place, the Thais inside were wearing all yellow and were carrying this yellow candle, watching this tv screen of -- the King giving a speech. so touching! and then there were some fireworks, but we couldnt see as we were blocked by the building. so cool la!

and then at night, we decided to go pubbing again. since it was the last night there and the start of the World Cup. so we walked all the way to Molly Malone's Irish Pub for cocktails again! oh my 3rd cocktain in my whole life. haha. the 2nd was at savoey's. well it was a mocktail. some crappy punch. but dad's maithai was super! and then i had this coconut cocktail at the irish pub, pina colada. wah it was heaven.

the alchohol wasnt strong, but it was super nice la. with light rum again! oooh lala! cindy had this tequila sunrise. haha. not quite my type. and so it was germany vs costa rica. and in the first few mins got so many goals alr. haha. but i couldnt tahan cos i was about to sleep, again as a result of the rum. haha and the pub was pretty smoky and all. just couldnt stand the smell. so we decided to head back after half time.

showered and then went to sleep. had to rise early the next day.

pathetic day. woke at like 5.45am (phuket time) to go to the airport. breakfast started at 6am and we had to rush some food but in the end didnt have enough time as we had to load all the luggages and gong gong into the car. left for airport and then bought some dunkin donuts there and went back to singapore. haha. goodbye phuket! you'll be missed.

FWAHHHHH. i actually typed finish everything! and its now 12midnight! omg. im so happy i completed this in like, 1.5 hrs. including editing the pix at the same time. hurhur. alright. shall go mug. haha. erm, like real.
